There are too many barriers to entry for Indigenous creators in retail. The consumer goods market in Hawaii, nationally, and internationally is inundated with inauthentic "native inspired" products. Our store only stocks Native Hawaiian designed or made products. Our products represent Native Hawaiian craftsmanship, creativity, and traditional practices from across the pae ʻāina. I grew up knowing I was of Indigenous descent from the present day Mexico territories but because of internalized prejudices of older generations of my family those roots were lost to time. I was hesitant to present myself at first due to my lack of connection to a recognized tribe but there's a voice inside telling me that those of us who "have no people" due to circumstances beyond our control deserve a place to be embraced as well.

K T G's love for fashion and design began very early on, she got her start in front of the camera at the age of three, by the age of five she was expressing herself through colourful fashion drawings. As she grew, she honed her draping skills by creating dresses out of her Mother's household linens. Her first hand sewing lessons came from her Mother at the age of eight. By the age of twelve, she decided to begin her fashion education independently by using her library card, checking out books, studying the decades of fashion as well as textiles. She also spent copious amounts of time at a local bookstore reading about her favorite designers and the late great makeup artist Kevin Aucoin. Her favorite designer is Gabriel Coco Chanel, she aims to follow in her footsteps by maintaining her individuality, expressing her best efforts through her work and interactions.
KTG has been working in Fashion for 16 years, beginning as an intern, then as an apprentice, leading into assistant designer. KTG has been designing her own brand for 10 years. In that time she has created custom garments, costumes, styled for print, music videos, as well as album covers. One of her most dynamic accomplishments is having completed 4 successful tours with Cirque Du Soleil (Totem, Kurios, Luzia, and Volta), working in costumes and wardrobe. Her current passion is pursuing the global expansion of KTGfashionhouse.
KTG's designs do not employ zippers, buttons, hook and eye nor any other western fasteners. Instead, her design method utilizes a blend of mathematics, alternative design techniques, and architectural simplicity. Her design aesthetic is influence by living most of her life by the ocean as well as inspiration found through travel and adventure. The coastal lifestyle is centered around flexible versatile fashion able to be taken from day to night. She believes in garments that are ethical and sustainable, these practices are essential to the integrity of her work. KTG admires garments that are chic, stylish, and elegant. This focus is the guiding force that directs what she aims to offer through her designs. Enjoy, interpret, imagine...

Kickapoo
Bio
Growing up my Grandmother- Irene Catherine Eagle would tell me about her Grandmother and Father. Her dad, Oscar Eagle, was a hard worker born in Eaglepass, Mexico near the Rio Grande River. Him and his brothers were from the Kickapoo peoples relocated from Oklahoma, Michigan- the Great Lakes areas, to the border of Texas and the U.S. Unfairly, they weren’t given tribal affiliations because the American government didn’t want to grant them dual citizenships’ at the time. The family left the land, as us wandering Kickapoo’s do—and moved to East Los Angeles. My Great-Grandfather Oscar Eagle passed away when my Nana was only 16 years old. Without his records, we have been unable to join the federally recognized tribe through the complications of us not having certificates of birth or death of Oscar or his mother. Being included as a member of the Kickapoo Tribe on their reservation in Texas is a longing I’ve always felt in my spirit.
I grew up next to the Soboba Luiseño Reservation because my mom worked for TANF. There I attended after-school tutoring programs and youth summer programs until they were defunded. Growing up on the outskirts of a reservation was a gift I was blessed to be incorporated in. I attended Notre Dame High School in Riverside, CA- that had been an all boys school located right next to what is now Sherman Indian High School. I was unaware of the horrors that happened at residential schools when I was there, because there was absolutely zero awareness or acknowledgment. My Nana tells me I have the exact same eyes as my Great- Grandfather and that when the sky changes or the sunlight hits my face, my eyes reflect the same way his did from her memory of him. I will be sharing his photograph on Instagram. Thank you for reading.

Featherpistol is a Performance Artist who has dedicated her life to following her creative passions. Her love of Nature, the mountain community and her then boyfriend/now husband prompted her move to Tahoe in 2017.
During her formative years, an education of studying art history at the University of Southern California with a focus in Art Conservation, followed by a Fulbright Fellowship in Florence, Italy at the Uffizi Gallery led to realising her zest for discovering and expressing the human condition. She later went on to study at Sotheby’s Institute of Art (Art Business) and became an Accredited Member of the International Socity of Appraisers (ISA AM). Adding to her high spirit for performance art is her fascination with sound/music/vibration and its healing properties. This led to an additional credential from the California Institute of Integral Studies in Sound, Voice and Music Healing.
"Feather" is an International Artist in Residence for Supperclub Amsterdam and has performed her art at dinner theater shows, circus shows, special events, Vegas nightclubs, casinos, fundraisers, festivals and theater productions. She is also a 40 year old lingerie model and loves combining her passion for fashion with inspired runway struts and photoshoots.
She is excited to be the creator of “Pole for the Globe”, a new initiative for raising money for earth charities by performing her signature performance art in nature. To date, this project has donated over $8,000.00 to charity. Join the movement at patreon.com/polefortheglobe
Early on, growing up in Minnesota, her family took lots of trips into the woods of the midwest for hunting and fishing expeditions. A crucial moment happened in her 16th year when she was reluctantly hunting with her father. She had always been a good shot with a gun, having taken Firearm Safety classes in 6th grade with “all the boys”, as she was an eternal tomboy growing up. But she didn’t actually want to shoot anything, let alone a bright eyed deer. She was close with her father and rarely stood up to him, but this November day in the woods she saw two beautiful doe walk across her line of sight. Reading “Catcher in the Rye” in her treestand, she looked at them with her heart racing, glanced at the gun, and thought “there’s no way I’m killing these animals”. She had to take a stance and tell her father “no”. Later, he said “honey, you don’t have to kill a deer, it’s a hard thing to do, a lot of people can’t do it or won’t do it for many reasons”. In this moment she felt closer than ever to her dad. Her father passed away in 2023 and to this day Featherpistol feels strongly that he is with her whenever she’s in the woods.
Now, she considers herself a middle aged activist artist. She stages pole art performances, photoshoots, and video shoots to express her critique of this plastic-riddled world. At 43, she has followed her fire for travel, art and knowledge and lived all over the world - and is now quite happily settled in Tahoe with her little family. Having resided in Los Angeles, Florence Italy, London and San Francisco, Featherpistol has spread her wings and explored what excites her and is now quite content to be living in the mountains.
When she performs, she blends her passion for music with her training in Tiger Crane Kung Fu, acrobatics, sensual dance, art history and runway modeling to create a unique style.

I’ve worked in our WIA program throughout my junior high and high school years from ages 14-18.
I worked with our tribe in various departments in our casino, and even worked for the Indian Gaming Commission as a Surveillance Officer protecting our tribes assets.
Throughout all my years, I’ve been attending college and getting ready to graduate with 5 transfer degrees, 2 AA/AS degrees, and 4 certifications.
Even though I’m still not decisive about my career. I would like to try and model in the Indigenous industry, it’s been something I’ve been wanting to do for awhile, but never knew which route to go or even go to. I’m glad for the media today, which brings all us Natives together to show everyone’s beauty from all Nations.
I would really like to give this a try and finally do something I’ve been dreaming for a long while.
Thank You for your time.

Joshua is a Nīs-Awāētok Menomini Wāēsēhon-naehēhtaw (Two-Spirit Menominee Artist). Their traditional name is Wāpananah enoh Kēsoq Anāh. Which means ‘The MorningStar and Moon Star’. Wāpananah has been an artist and healer their whole life, practicing traditional Menomini & indigenous healing and spirituality. Through their art Wāpananah creates beautiful pieces that reflect their indigenous ancestry, culture, & spiritual connection.
They attended Milwaukee High School of the Arts and graduated with a diploma in Visual Arts. Then went on to study several other subjects before settling on attending a design school (2009-2012) majoring in Fashion Design. Throughout their time in design school they noticed no Native representation, and made their senior collection based on the stories & spirits of their tribe. These stories were mostly passed down from their Great Grandmother (Flag Woman) at a very early age before she joined our ancestors in Skyworld.
Wāpananah has a strong connection to the women of their family… their mother, grandmother, and great grandmother were all strong women & artists who shaped and impacted the way Joshua looked at the world. Kenēw Nōwaeqnaen or ‘Golden Eagle Wind’ (Joshua’s mother) was a huge part of their journey as an artist and remains one of their greatest sources of inspiration. BitterSweet (Joshua’s grandmother) was a woman of action and hard work, quick to take an idea and get it done! This shaped their “I can create anything” spirit/mindset. A descendant of Chief Waukechon, Wāpananah enoh Kēsoq Anāh looks to remind indigenous peoples of our powerful origins and empower our community’s youth to reach new heights. Joshua has had artwork on display at the Maidu Museum and Historic Site for an MMIW/R exhibition called ‘Remember the Promise’ and was a finalist for an art installation with the Milwaukee Public Museum’s new museum plan. Wāpananah continues to paint, design, sculpt, and create art & fashion in hopes of bringing greater visibility to our peoples and open galleries.

During my upbringing, culture and tradition took precedence; therefore, modeling was never a path I was interested in pursuing. However, as I matured and started embracing my femininity, my perspective shifted. What better way to exude confidence than through the power of Indigenous fashion?
My interests are centered around prioritizing my health, seeking new experiences, and raising my vibration, all contributing to my journey of personal growth and ascension.

Rykelle’s works of art is a representation of the knowledge she has attained of her Southwestern & Southeastern heritage, which she combines in each piece that she creates. She started her art career learning under her father (Renowned Native Painter/Printmaker Randy Kemp) as a printmaker from the age of 12. She now works out of her home studio where she produces her one of a kind mono-silk screen prints, mix-medium artworks and Jewelry.
Rykelle started her own business: ‘Ahlazua-Indigenous Woman Made’ in 2018, which focuses on affordable Jewelry collections, Accessories & Graphic Design. Ahlazua is her traditional Euchee name given to her by her late Grandmother Josephine, also her business’ namesake. It felt important and powerful to incorporate her Euchee name within her Business, because it honors Matrilineal Inheritance: knowledge & Name.
Kemp found her creative passion for jewelry making and design 7 years ago. After taking a basic class at a local arts school in phoenix, she worked tirelessly at cultivating and growing her own techniques in silversmithing. She has created a unique style that incorporates her tribal heritage. She works with Natural Materials that she has found in her Tribes while studying and researching traditional methods and Materials. From the South East she incorporates Shells, Pearls, and shell carving/cutting & applies that to Techniques and Materials from her Diné Tribe in the South West such as Tufa Casting, Turquoise and Sweat Soldering. With her Goal to combine and use as many Traditional Techniques and Materials from all her tribes, she has developed a distinct Design Style. This unique style has garnered a following of collectors for her one of a kind pieces with-in recent years.
Her works have been featured in publications such as: The Huffington Posts: “23 Indigenous Fashion Brands: Clothing, Jewelry & Accessories”, The Native American Art Magazine and other publications across the country. She has also been featured in art markets such as: Santa Fe Indian Art Market (NM), Smithsonian-NMAI (NYC), Autry Museum of the South West (CA), Heard Museum (AZ), Eiteljorg Museum (IN), etc. Stockists include: Denver Art Museum (CO), Eiteljorg Museum (IN), First Americans Museum (OK), etc.

SAVAGE BEAUTY & RISING WITHIN

Our main purpose in life has been to focus on healing and a healthy lifestyle. Traditional teachings, healing workshops, events, creating self-esteem, empowering broken souls! We teach the youth & others how start a business. We provide kits for people selling Savage Beauty Makeup line. This has been very empowering because our indigenous communities have a high rate of unemployment and being able to help indigenous people feel confident, successful and empowered. Is a very rewarding feeling being able to help with our unemployment crisis in indigenous communities.
Why SAVAGE ?
I remember travelling to powwows and big times and everyone look at me crazy because of the brands name and all day I explained to everyone why I’m using the word SAVAGE! when I was growing up this was my name that people called me and not in a good way it was used to hurt me! What better way to heal by turning the negativity into a positive!
The word "savage" has long been used as a weapon against Indigenous peoples, a label imposed by colonizers to dehumanize us and justify their oppression. By reclaiming this word, I am turning it into a symbol of strength, resilience, and defiance. Rather than allowing it to carry the negative weight of its past, I’m choosing to redefine it on my own terms.
To me, reclaiming "savage" is about owning my identity unapologetically. It’s a reminder of our ancestors’ strength in the face of incredible adversity, and our continued survival despite centuries of efforts to erase our culture. When I use the word, it’s no longer an insult—it's a badge of pride, representing fierce independence, cultural survival, and an unbroken connection to the land and traditions.
This act of reclamation is a form of healing, where we take control of the narrative and use language as a tool for empowerment, not oppression. It's about honouring our heritage while shaping our future with confidence and pride.

We aim to bring Indigenous fashion to the forefront of global conversations—showcasing our heritage, creativity, and cultural resilience on the world stage. Through every stitch, we strive to create a space where identity, beauty, and individuality are not only seen, but celebrated.

Shé:kon, my name is Tina Bradley. I am owner and creator of Queena Ribbon Designs. I’m Onkwehonwe/Mohawk from Akwesasne, NY. I am wolf clan and have five beautiful daughters. I started out sewing by making traditional style ribbon dresses for my daughters during ceremony time. Ive been sewing and creating clothing for a few short years. Over the years my sewing skills has grown to a wide range of traditional Haudenosaunee clothing and runway fashion apparel and leather items. I’ve been in multiple fashion shows from Oklahoma to Quebec Canada. I am inspired my modern day fashion and our traditional style clothing. I like to blend the two styles together to create one of a kind pieces.
A lot of my ideas come from my dreams. Seeing my collection on the runway is like watching my dreams come true! It’s always an honor to have the opportunity to showcase my collections at any venue.

I created Leiren Designs because I believe that every bride deserves more than just a dress—she deserves an experience that makes her feel seen, celebrated, and truly herself. Bridal fashion isn't just about beautiful gowns; it's about storytelling, artistry, and the magic of finding something that feels like you.
Growing up around traditional Norwegian needlecrafts, I developed a deep respect for craftsmanship and detail from an early age. That love for artistry, combined with my passion for design, led me to the world of bridal fashion. But when I started my journey in this industry, I saw a gap—too many brides felt overwhelmed, unseen, or pressured into trends that didn’t reflect their personal style. I knew I could change that.
Leiren Designs is my answer to that challenge. I built this boutique not just as a place to find something authentic to wear for your wedding, but as a space where brides, grooms, and spouses-to-be can feel inspired, supported, and confident. Every garment we create is designed with intention, blending timeless elegance with thoughtful sustainability.
Being recognized with awards like Seattle Magazine's Best Bridal Boutique and Seattle Times' Best of the PNW is incredibly humbling, but what truly drives me is the connection I make with each bride. Seeing that moment—the spark in her eyes when she realizes she’s put on the dress—her dress, is what fuels my passion every single day.
Beyond bridal fashion, I’m also committed to advocating for Indigenous arts and ethical fashion. I believe in lifting up other designers, educating clients on conscious consumerism, and creating gowns that tell a meaningful story.
At the heart of it all, Leiren Designs is about celebrating love, artistry, and individuality. My goal is simple: to make sure every bride who walks through our doors feels like the most radiant version of herself, not just on her wedding day, but in the entire journey leading up to it.
This is more than just bridal fashion. This is about creating something extraordinary—just like you.

Founder and Creator, Bird Beadz
As an enrolled member of the Kiowa Gourd Clan of Southwest Oklahoma, I carry forward a rich legacy of artistry deeply rooted in my family. My creative journey spans a variety of mediums, from the bold strokes of painting to the intricate designs of metal sculpture, and now to the vibrant world of beading.
Through Bird Beadz, I draw upon traditional inspirations while infusing each piece with a contemporary vision. My work reflects not only personal expression but a deep connection to the heritage passed down by my Redbird family and grandfather, both of which are accomplished in their own right. For years, I have honed my craft with passion and precision, and I am thrilled to continue sharing my art with the world.
It is my dream to see Native artistry celebrated globally, to have my work embraced, and to inspire others in the Native community to express the beauty of our traditions through modern art.

Born in Las Vegas, Nevada, Danica was raised under the neon light of human eccentricity and grit. With a car-salesman father and a bartender mother, life was spent navigating between transient worlds.
Although the Las Vegas Strip is a Lego-like parody of the rest of the world, it proves that something more exists far away from the suburban desert. Curiosity coupled with an inner-desire for a more grounded identity led Danica to pursue a degree in International Relations at Boston University.
While a student at BU, Danica studied abroad in Cuba and Ecuador where she discovered and later focused her studies on human diplomacy. After college, she turned to documentary filmmaking to further explore her interest in human-centric storytelling that emphasizes individuality against diverse cultural backdrops.
Research took her to South America, Europe, South Asia, and Northern Africa where she engaged with locals who invited her into their lives. These immersive experiences led her to discover the soft power of kindness and curiosity are powerful ways to connect and share our stories. Storytelling, therefore, is diplomacy.
Danica's work is dedicated to bridging the gaps of miscommunication amongst cultural divides through impactful storytelling that zooms into the lives of those who are "different" in order to give an audience new perspective on what they previously judged or feared.
