Waqaa, my name is Tina Marie, my Yup'ik name is Cupell'aq. I'm a creator of indigenous wearable art and teacher/mentor for young beadweavers and indigenous creatives. I grew up between Bethel Alaska and Los Angeles, CA. I'm mixed Yup'ik and Caucasian, and love both parts of my heritage, finding ways to incorporate both in my work. My art reflects a combination of my experiences and my blended nature, hoping to resonate with people on a global level.
