I'm a self taught hunter, harvester, tanner, and fur fashion designer. Our ancestral seal and sea otter have been used for thousands of years to protect us from the wet and cold harsh climate of southeast Alaska. Fur can be a very controversial topic and you must have grit and a thick skin to attempt such a unique profession. Bumpy roads and brick walls have not stopped me from sharing my unique lifestyle. It really all about the story and the hard work. After a few more fashion shows, its time to teach these dying techniques to a hungry crowd seeking knowledge that is rarely shared.
