Native Diva Creations is an award-winning business, Native Diva Creations was the 2020 winner of “International Indigenous Accessories Designer of the year “. Melrene business and entrepreneurship has been recognized and celebrated with different accolades such as Calgary Chambers of commerce small business awards, CANDO entrepreneurial of the year award, Community futures treaty seven business series and more. As of recent Melrene Has taken a collection of her work to New York fashion week 3 times and to Paris Fashion week twice ans recently Milan Italy.
Melrene’s is a mother of 2, entrepreneur, designer
and lover of fashion. Her influences stem from the beading traditions of her family, the black foot people and the land. Combining her loves of crafting, beadwork, fashion, and business Melrene developed Native Diva Creations. This blend of traditional and modern sets her jewelry apart from the everyday jewelry and accessories. Making culturally appropriate wears that all peoples can wear respectfully enjoy is a large part of what and why she makes what she makes. Staying authentic is what is most important to her, and hand made one-of-a-kind products are what keeps it authenticity.
