  • Lynn Traylor (b.1980) is an interdisciplinary Navajo fashion artist. A member of the Navajo Nation (Diné), she lives and works in Phoenix, AZ.   Known for her detail and intricate patterns on contemporary fashion garments. Traylor explores themes of traditional storytelling, feminine energy, masculine energy,  resilience, loss, and love – the complexities of historic and contemporary indigenous experiences – across beading, fashion, and installation.   Traylor’s beadwork has been exhibited and featured at Santa Fe Indian Market, Heard Indian Market, Navajo Nation Fair Magazine, Indian Country Today, and Shout Out AZ. She has been featured on the runway with Kayla Lookinghorse, Winston Paul, & The Original Landlords. Traylor was a guest on Those Damn Uncles podcast advocating for the arts, youth involvement and expression, and generational craftsmanship in traditional & contemporary artisan techniques.
