Meet Kehala Smith: Indigenous fashion designer, artist, wife, mom of three, and powerhouse behind Kreations by Kehala! As a proud Turtle Clan member of the Tuscarora Nation, Kehala blends traditional artistry with modern flair—think stunning quillwork, beadwork, leather pieces, and fashion made for every body.
From sketchbook to runway, she handcrafts every piece with love and intention. You’ll find her teaching Native youth, dancing globally with Jordan Smith & Dancers of the Haudenosaunee, and spreading cultural pride through workshops and events.
Her designs have graced runways from New York to Dubai, with features in Catch the Fair One, Native Max Magazine, and more. Catch her at top fashion events, including NYFW, SWAIA, and her very own Red Horizons Fashion Show June 2025. Recently a First place winner in Santa Fe Indian Market 2025.
