I am Johnnie. Gender-Fluid, Chicano, Nurse, Singer, Anti-Fascist, Anarchist, Cat and Cheeseburger enthusiast, Maker of playlists, Climber of mountains and Friend to anyone who stands up for the Rights of fellow people. I grew up knowing I was of Indigenous descent from the present day Mexico territories but because of internalized prejudices of older generations of my family those roots were lost to time. I was hesitant to present myself at first due to my lack of connection to a recognized tribe but there's a voice inside telling me that those of us who "have no people" due to circumstances beyond our control deserve a place to be embraced as well.
