My name is Brandee Wyse, granddaughter of late chief Viola Wyse and niece of Chief Michael Wyse of Nanaimo’s Snuneymuxw band. I work in the post production film and television industry as an Image Pipeline Supervisor at Harbor Picture Company in Santa Monica. I graduated with a BA from Cal State Long Beach’s film department with a Narrative Production Degree (focusing in Cinematography) in 2017.
Over the years, I have done independent video editing work for indigenous queer artists like Canada’s Drag Race’s Ilona Verley and singer songwriter Quanah Style.
I would love to become more involved with the production end of highlighting Indigenous talent. I’d love to continue editing but also branch out and become involved with photography aspects as well.
