Giselle (Gigi) Richards is an enrolled member of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation. Her career began as a competitive tumbler and Cheerleader who later cheered at the University of Oklahoma while getting her degree in Human Relations.
Through her success as a competitive athlete, she was cast as a feature model for the athletic apparel company Rebel Athletic. She has been featured in their look books, the uniform reveal segments, their athletic wear campaigns and has represented the company at various events. Not only was she chosen to travel to Italy for the photo shoot and production of, Rebel Couture Look Book in Amalfi Italy, She is a face for the platform, Rebel Against Bullying.
Gigi serves as a role model to young athletes and actively promotes a healthy and athletic lifestyle with emphasis on being a role model for other Indigenous girls. She has spoken out on issues facing Native youth and was honored to participate in two White House Tribal Youth Forums in Washington DC and has appeared on Native Youth Voices podcast episodes. She has been the face of the Administration for Native Americans (ANA) suicide prevention promotional videos.
She is an active member of the United National Indian Tribal Youth (UNITY) and has walked in fashion shows for the award winning Indigenous fashion designer, Red Berry Woman in Las Vegas, Washington D.C. and Minneapolis.
