As a Latina and Native American artist, I utilize art and music as outlets for expressing myself the best ways I know how. Emotion, life experiences, as well as people and places in these experiences, are the foundations of bringing out the innermost parts of me that develop into many different arts mediums and forms of expression. Although I was not born on a reservation, my father is registered with the Ojibwe, Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians, and my maternal grandmother is Mexica.
